Text Box: InSite Land Use Planning is the private consulting practice of Christopher S. Millar, CPT, MCIP, RPP. Chris Millar has been active in the land development industry within the Greater Golden Horseshoe since 1985.  He carries with him an extensive background in Secondary, Subdivision and Site Plan design, in addition to the preparation, submission and processing of a wide variety of planning related applications. Having worked for a number of top planning firms in the GTA and Niagara, together with his public sector experience, Chris has maintained a private consulting practice for select clients and select circumstances. Located in the City of St. Catharines, the Urban Centre of Niagara Region, Chris will continue to focus on the future of this region, an extraordinary geographic gem and its contextual significance within the Great Lakes Basin.  Planning within the GTA and Greater Golden Horseshoe has always been of keen interest to Chris. With so much recent change in planning policy at all levels of government, the need for planning assistance on behalf of the many private landowners, developers and institutions, continues to be a valued service within the industry. Only after navigating through a myriad of review and approvals will this value be realized. Chris is passionate about the planning profession and finds great satisfaction in helping to achieve the goals and objectives of proponents in balance with those of the various layers of authority. Chris is a full member of the Canadian Institute of Planners and Ontario Professional Planners Institute. He also carries full membership in the Canadian Association of Certified Planning Technicians.
